Established in 1755, Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) is the highest-ranked university in Russia, and is consistently ranked within the global top 150 of the QS World University Rankings®. One of Russia’s oldest and most respected institutions, MSU’s main building is the tallest educational building in the world. The university library system is one of the largest in Russia with around 9,000,000 books, 2,000,000 of which are in foreign languages. The university has more than 47,000 students enrolled and welcomes about 4,000 international students every year.
